Xing Jianhu - Pusa Jie (High Layman) |

Posted by: XingLi on Monday, December 10, 2007 - 04:59 AM — 1627 Reads |
This week, one of the tradition's elder disciples, Xing Jianhu, travelled to Da Xiang Guo Si in Kai Feng (P.R. China) for an upgrade of his vows.
Approval for pusa jie level is not an easy thing to achieve and requires many sponsors vouching for the commitment of the applicant. Following a period of testing and dialogue by his sponsors (on his behalf), Xing Jianhu received confirmation that he could take pusa jie (high layman) vows.
Following an overnight stay at the Temple, the ceremony was conducted by the senior tribunal of Da Xiang Guo Si and Xing Jianhu received the name Yuan Du.
Photos will be attached shortly.
