Weddings and the Buddhist Union of Hearts Ceremony
Health This page contains a series of articles designed to inform members and the community at large.
Open Days
(Nine Palace Farm, NSW Southern Highlands) Donation basis.
On the last Sunday of the month, in the tranquil forest atmosphere of Nine Palace Farm, everyone is invited to experience aspects of one of the world’s most revered spiritual traditions. These monthly events are open to all and activities on the day include discourses on Ch'an Buddhism and its practical applications in daily living; mantric, meditative and martial practices. Open days also offer people an opportunity to ask questions in open forums or to have private dialogue with the masters and teachers in the Tradition.
Refreshments and various facilities are provided. Participants are asked to bring a plate of vegetarian food to share at afternoon tea.
Feng Shui Consultations
(Charged service)
Feng Shui is the science of creating harmonious environments. A vast and ancient study, the Da Xiang Guo Si Shaolin Ju Shi Lin offers the Ch'an/Zen school of Feng Shui to the Australian public.
This school of Feng Shui requires a master to stand in the particular environment and intuitively sense the subtle energies involved. The technique cannot be taught from books or through workshops. It must be handed down through a direct lineage of masters.
Shi Yuan Zhi, head seat monk of the Da Xiang Guo Si Shaolin Ju Shi Lin, studied under renowned Shaolin Feng Shui masters in China and has shared the benefits of this knowledge for two decades.
A Feng Shui consultation service is available by appointment for commercial properties, private residences (pre-plan or post-building) and rural properties.
Executive Training
(Charged service)
Individual training is available for those who wish to pursue serious studies in Ch'an Buddhism but are unable to attend scheduled group classes. Executive training is conducted on a one-on-one basis with a senior master and is only offered to those with the deepest commitment to their practice.
A face-to-face interview is required for potential applicants.
Seva
The opportunity exists for members of the Tradition to offer their services for seva at Nine Palace Farm. Seva, meaning ‘selfless service’ is a deep form of spiritual practice and a key path to enlightenment
Seva involves the student completely in the task at hand and employs tools such as the use of mantras. In this way the task itself becomes the inner teacher and major breakthroughs often occur.
Cultural Exchange Program
Through direct links to senior masters in China, the Da Xiang Guo Si Shaolin Ju Shi Lin is able to offer the opportunity to be a part of the cultural exchange program between Australia and China.
Eligible members of the Association are able to travel to China to study aspects of the Ch'an curriculum with renowned elders. These practitioners then return to Australia with newly gained knowledge to enrich the Tradition here.
As part of the reciprocal arrangement, there are also opportunities for highly skilled teachers from China to visit Australia and provide in-depth workshops and tuition.
Appointments for any services are confidential and are generally only available in NSW and the ACT unless otherwise arranged. Please contact 1300 138 820 to book an appointment. Once your needs are established we can arrange the next available appointment in your area.
